This package installs the Intel Fingerprint Software to enable the following device:
- AuthenTec Inc, AES2810

• The fingerprint scanner works perfectly when you stay on Mac OS X Mountain Lion. When you upgrade it is even advised to remove the Authentec Truesuite software first, since this could lock you out of the system after the upgrade.
• I could enroll my fingers in that software and that worked fine, but I didn't want to use UPEK, so I deleted Protector Suite, but kept the fingerprint settings. Then AuthenTec's login software worked correctly with my fingerprint data from UPEK. I had been using this setup for over 3 months, but it suddenly stopped working.

It is small, compact and is compatible with both Mac's and PC's due to AuthenTec's TrueSuite® fingerprint sensor software. The Eikon mini measures about 0.6 x 0.75 x 0.5 inches and can be plugged into any PC, Mac or tablet with a USB port. It can be purchased from the AuthenTec Web store and from Amazon.

If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions. This program is language independent and can be used with any language system.
